Corrida should be banned

We all know that play someone’s life was a very inhuman act, even to animals or plants. However until now, Some brutal sports such as corrida continuous appear all over the world.

To fighting with a cow and kill it at last, maybe some people think that was a great way to show matadors’ brave and strong, while, the audiences will feel very exciting from watch this bloody duel. I don’t know when they watched that,did they ever thinking about this question : will you be very happy if someone put you into a cage and let you fight with an animal or a human to kill them or be killed by them? Will you feel good if someone continually hurt you by a sword or a spear? Why should we do that to other lifes? Nevertheless, a kind and righteous person will not enjoy himself in a bloody fighting or watch that, no matter the fighters are human beings or any kinds of animals. The brutal sports like corrida are the desecration of life, they should be stop and disappear from the world.

If I have enough power, I will ban all kinds of brutal sports without any hesitation. Life should get highest deference, we should not put any lifes in danger and death just for entertainment.

I’m not a vegetarian. Sometimes we need to kill animals for food.Even though, we should learn to valued their life. Never play their life like a toy, because all of us are part of natrue.

smoking : should be banned in public places

Nowadays many people smokes in a public places such as (airport,restaurants,streets,etc) but actually they dont know the dangers of this habit.

Firtsly they damage their selves by doing it and what is more they damage other people life , whereas other people want a healthy life. Secondly they waste their monies on it . How ever we can put our money in a good works such as ( charities,or in positive way).
people who smoke makes their life shorter it`s a kind of suicide, on the other hand people who dont smoke they enjoy healthy long life.

A study prove that people who smoke they increase thier chance of having cancer and other disease more than the others who dont .

Thirdly, to have a clean fresh environment we should stop smoking in public . In my poinion the government should do smokings rooms where it`s allowed to smoke in it. How ever if some on smoke in public should pay a fine.

Also there are many reasons . But For these reasons many people would welcom a ban on smoking in public where they might irritate other.

No one has doubt that the smoking is harmful to health, In addition, it is a waste of money, For this reason, some religions ban the smoking, such as Islam, inspite of all these thing too many people are still smoking.

Many people have mixed feelings about the smoking in public places, Although the decision of banning the smoking in public places will get mixed reactions, a lot of non-smoker people say it is a wisdom decision.

In general a lot of countries ban the smoking in public places, However, some people persist in breaking the law, especially in the developing countries where you can find the smokers smoke inside the trains, buses, building, they hurt themselves, Furthermore, they hurt other people.

While I was on the train in some country, there were tow people arguing loudly, and the reason was one of them was smoking and blow his smoke towards the other, the security officer came to fine the smoker? No, because there is no law for smoking on trains, he came to take the non-smoker to an other trailer, whta is more, the smoker person did not stop smoking, eventhough several peole complained about that.

On the other hand, the smokers in that country say ' we travel for a long time in non-stop travel, therefore we need a private place for smoking', For this reason, the government promised to set up new laws about smoking.

Non-smoker people complain about the unacceptable behaviour of the smokers, Nevertheless, they still suffer from inhaling nicotine them and their children.

Libya, which is a country in north Africa, is located on the Mediterranean sea , has a celebration which a lot of people consider to be the hugest in north Africa .
The celebration, is a happy occasion for Libyan people, who consider it as a way of saying thanks and expressing gratitude to the Libyan leader " Muammar Al-Gaddafi ", a lot of children and young people call him "Baba Muammar" which means a father while the rest of Libyan people call him brother Muammar. It takes a place on the first day of September.
A lot of countries, which have ties with Libya and Libya's allies attend this, and participate in their armies and equipments as well as Libyan preparations. ??

The highlights of the festival are, when the parade starts with the Libyan troops where the Libyan leader stands at the honour poduim with many important personalities, the participating countries in the procession, ordinary Libyan peole with their own show about Libya and its history.

The national day in Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, the national day celebration takes place in September every year.

King Abdulaziz established the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 22nd of september 1932 . In this celebration people celebrate by singing national songs and painting their faces with green and white which are the colours of our flag, and go on the streets , driving their cars after they painted them green and carry Saudi flags and the police every where giving stickers of king abdullah who is the king of Saudi.

(our country in our heart) and similar to these words. And this celebration no matter who you are you can celebrate which is one of the most amazing celebrations we have . Looking back , what I remember best was seeing people happy and dancing every where . On the whole it`s extremely impressive which is nice to share with other people. Al Jnadriya is a place in the east of Riyadh where you can see the traditional dance with swords and sing tradtional songs organized by the government and it`s a nice show to see .

A festival I can't forget is (EID ALFitr) which is a festival that means fast-breaking after the end of Ramadan (a period of fasting). It is a happy occasion when you are with your family and friends. Three years a go I was driving my car home after a very long joureny from the south to the middle of Saudi Arabia to be with my family for the first day of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration . So I arrived on time. my mother was preparing food and drink and every body were busy doing something and you could smell all of kinds of perfumes. any way we went out to visit some cousins. Older people and friends congratulated us and children are often given gifts or money. After that I went out with my friends to celebrate. I met an old friend of mine who was very close to me who I hadn't seen for a long time. Usually we go to many places where we can see all the organised shows like the government palace, aljnadrih, albath and finally my favorite one it is a horse sutable?? where we had got a horse and spent vere lovely time .

In Autumn, one of the biggest festivals of the year is called Hangawi, which is on August 15th in the lunar calender, and is the Korean thanksgiving day.

We have a three-day holiday and most people who make trips to their hometown get stuck in traffic jams in order to celebrate it with their family. A type of rice cake called songpyeon, whose shape is like a half-moon, is made by all families.

In the morning of Hangawi, families go to the their relatives gravesides to remember their ancestors and perform memorial rites, with foods prepared for the rites.

On that day, children who dress up in traditonal costumes enjoy playing traditonal Korean games such as kite-flying, playing yut.

Take my advice - go to Saudi . Saudi is a great place to study Arabic. Jeddah is one of the most beautiful cities in Saudi Arabia where you can enjoy the red sea. The people are friendly and helpful and it's a safe place. There are plenty of foreigners in Saudi Arabia. As for work, you can work anywhere Saudi if you have good enough certificates and you will have a good salary. It depends on your subject .

I would go there if I were you.

Have you thought of coming here to Libya? It is a place where you can fulfil your needs, it's easy to travel, cheap, and has a perfect climate in the winter. Libyan people have long summer holidays, so you can enjoy your time and visit the tourist places.
If you ask me about work, you can't beat Libya for high salaries, you will make a lot of money within short time. In addition it is a safe place, with friendly and helpful people. I'd go there if I were you.
If you want to study, take my advice - go there. Libya is such a good place to study, especially if you want to be an oil engineer. The fees aren't high only about £350 a term. Furthermore you can get a great job in an international oil company there.

Nowdays , many people could not live without technology , because they know the benefits of technology in their life. Also they are in an age when all people need to do every thing quickly.
In fact, there are many outstanding technology machines that are essential for everybody such as the internet, mobile phones, air counditioning, cars, etc.

One of the thing I always find amazing is how the internet has completely changed our lives . If we did not have it our lives would be boring also we would not be able to contact each other easly. Secondly I could not imagine life without my mobile phone because I feel safer with it especially at night and I can text message all my friends any time or any place cheaply. I really admire this invention. thirdly, I think air conditioning is important especially in all the hot countries.
For example; the weather in Saudi Arabia is boiling the temperature reaches 49 c so people could not love without it.

Finally , I think all people in the world need technology in their lives. They need technology in education or job or home or hospitals and all the companies in the world depend on technology.
My advice for everybody is use the technology in the right way in order to improve themselves .

OMAR AL-MOKHTAR 'THE LION OF THE DESERT'

Have you heard of this name , or have you seen an " Omar Almokhtar film? " If you have not, do not worry here is a summary of Omar Almokhtar's life .
He had many nick names like The lion of desert , The master of heroes .

Fact File

Omar Al-mokhtar was born on the 20th of August 1861 in Janzour, in the east of Tobruk city in Libya. His mother's name was Eisha Ibnat Moharib.
He died on 16th of September 1931 where the fascist Italians execute him .

Early life :
Omar Almokhtar was an orphan , his father died when he was on his way to Mecca , in the meantime Omar was 16 years old , Omar had learnt Quran and became an Arabic and Quran teacher .

From a Teacher to a Leader :
When the Italian troops invaded Libya , Omar Al-mokhtar decided to start consultations with all the Libyan tribes in the east of Libya. Meanwhile Salem Bin Abdunnabi had started to collect Libyan resisters in the west part of Libya .
The Italian policy in Libya was to kill all Libyan people, or make them servants to the Italian settlers, and the Libyans lived in slums during the Italian imperialism .
Omar Al-mokhtar started defending Libyan people's rights to live in peace in their country and the only chance was to start fighting against the troops that had invaded Libya.
He changed his career, and he became the leader of Libyan fighters, as he knew this was important.
He won each time and became skilled in the strategies and tactics of desert warfare , the Italian army did every thing to prevent supplies arriving to him , they planted landmines everywhere in Libya. Most Libyan people were either shepherds or farmers , a lot of them died because of the landmines .
Furthermore, Italian troops deprived people of food in order to make them surrender , whereas in fact Omar Al-mokhtar believed in his people , and his people believed in him .

It was a great happiness to the Italian troops when they captured the hero (Mokhtar), and they immediately decided to judge him , it was clear they wanted to dispose of him as soon as possible. After one day Mokhtar was in the court .

The Trial :

They asked him a lot of questions, and he answered all the question with yes except for one question when the so-called judge asked him "were you responsible for killing the captives '', Mokhtar said "no , we do not kill the captives ", Mokhtar's defence lawyer said '' Mokhtar has not confessed to us as a legal government of his country , we therefore have to treat him as a war prisoner ", but their judge and jury did not accept that .
Mokhtar was hanged the next day.

Yeon-A Kim, one of famous figure skater

I really admire one young woman, her name is Yeon-a Kim, she is a one of the most famous figure skaters in the world now, because she is the first female skater to surpass the 200-point mark and also the first female skater to receive +2.00 grade of execution for jumps under the ISU Judging System. Also she is the only female skater whose triple-triple combination is recognized by the judges in both the short and free programmes.
But you know that her age is only 19 years , and if you heard her life history, you could see that she tried to practice skating so much in a terrible environment.
When she started figure skating, it was an unpopular sport in Korea, so she couldn't do a lot of skating . Also the goverment didn't support her, but at that moment her coach discovered her talent and he strongly suggested to her mother that she kept skating until now, I think that made her become a world-class figure skater.
It has affected that many Koreans, specially young people, who like her abillity and they want to follow her, she has become a kind of star.
She is currently ranked first in the world by the ISU, it is first time a Korean have got a title of world No.1, so I am really proud of her as a Korean as well. And now she is considered to be the favorite to win gold at the ladies figure skating competion at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

I would like to talk about an amazing achievement that was invented by the humans. Computer technology has helped many people to contact each other over long distances.So I have strongly feel that nobody in the world can live without a computer. Nowadays the whole world is closely linked by commercial networks. Even though there are some problems it does cost alot, but companes, hospitals and all the public sectors can not be with out it. How many crimes were detected by computer . eventually diagnosed as apart from the family ??

The Internet is a big world where you can find a lot of what you want. The internet makes life easier for people to communicate with other people who live far away or live next to you . Also you can buy or sell anything on it. The internet makes life a small place where you can have new friends from different countries . In the past if people wanted to communicate with other people they used to send letters and these days you can send a letter or anything just by clicking on send . Nowadays I think people can not live with out the internet as it is the most useful way to deal with anything. And there are many advantages like listening to music , studies, research,etc.... And on the other hand the internet has disadvantages like hacking, fraud,etc.... But we must use it in a good way. And the internet can also help you to find some information by searching for it. It is an amazing invention these days and you can go on the internet using mobiles phones or computers or playstations from anywhere anytime . Thats technolgy! Everything is amazing.

Henry David Thoreau living in nature ! ! !

When I was at universty one of my friends who was interested in philosophy gave me one book called 'walden' as a present for my birthday. Not expecting it would be good I started to read this book because that book was very heavy and had small letters which is hard to read. However, once I started it, I couldn't put it down.


Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862) was born in Concord, Massachusetts and studied at Harvard University. After that, he moved to Wadon Pond to live simply. There he built his house by himself, raised crops and experienced self-sufficiency for about 2 years. Based on these lives Walden was written in 1854 and influenced many figures such as John F Kennedy, Leo Tolstoy.



While I was reading it I thought about lots of things such as life and nature. What's more, I really wanted to read the original work of the book written in English. That is one of reasons I hoped to study English. It is a pity that I can't tell you how amazing the book is in English. I'd like to say "Just read Waldon translated into your language and you wil know why I like it."

Stop the Sadist !

Since the human race turned up on the earth , they have had an advantage over all creation.
Despite the fact that we have a mind, we also have the choice to decide , whether to be angels or devils .
Unfortunately, some of us choose to be evil people , they might not know who they are , because they do not use their mind to think about what are they doing .

I want to talk about just one evil side in my essay Blood Sports (Animals) because some people do this for entertainment.
In this essay I will highlight some of these sports, I will not give a verdict , I would like you to give your verdict .

1- Bull Fighting :

This kind of sport is popular , especially in Spain and the former Spanish colonies .

They put the animal inside a cage for a night without food , it is not enough for them , they torture the animal by burning its horns until the fire goes out single-handedly .

In the morning, the animal find itself inside a circuit called Bullring , with a lot of people watching and shouting at the border of bullring , Bullfighters inside the bullring use their lances and swords to torture the animal and wear it out .

Afterwards , they kill it .



2- Fox Hunting :

Foxes in some countries are considered dangerous and harmful , but in other counties they are friendly , however in all countries , there are some people who kill the foxes just for entertainment .

More than 10 dogs chase a poor fox , furthermore 2 men or more on their horses with their guns wait for the appropriate opportunity to murder the animal .

3- Cock Fighting :

This kind of bloody sport started in Africa when the white people invaded that continent , unfortunately it is still popular in some African countries .

Two cocks fight each other until one of them dies or has a serious injury like losing one of its eyes .

Many kinds of animals are extinct because of mankind, for example, some kinds of bears , tigers , elephants ....etc .

As we want to live , other creatures want to live too, let us use our mind , to keep this nature , to make our children able to see these kinds of animals .

We really need to live in peace , and let others live in peace as well , I say these words with a depressing outlook , especially with the emergence of a new kind of blood sport ( Humanrace Hunting ) .

my opinion is

These blood sports should be made illegal because they hunt animals just for fun. It's like playing with the animals' souls or lives by hunting them . And actually I find there is no fun in that sport also I think this sport should be a crime . We want to live and have a happy life and also these animals want the same. But if these animals are a dangers to our lives then its ok to be hunted for a reason or if there are to many of these animals it's another reason to be hunted . Also these animals have feelings and emotions and I say to people who hunt for fun to think for a minute and put themselves in that situation to see what it feels like. And some of these animals have babies they wake to bring food to their babies and they don't know if they will be alive or not and some of them are still young it's another world that we have to respect and don't get involved in . It's nature.

Is it right to retain capital punishment

It is a controversial topic to use capital punishment - the penalty of being legally killed. About 80 countries enforcie it to prevent a serious crime.

Some people insist that keeping captial punishment has a deterring effect to would-be murderers.
However, it doesn't seem to work because the countries which use this punishment have a similar crime rate compared to those which don't have it.
What's more, the verdict of jury or the decision of the court are not always correct. Sometimes, they can make a big mistake and judge unfairly. A few years age, there was a dentist who was suspected of killing his wife. He didn't accept the judgement of the lower court and appealed to supreme court. Finally the supreme court declared him innocent after 5 years.

Those who approve of capital punishment think that we are spending a lot of tax managing prisoners who commit a crime. However I think our society should take responsibilty for the criminals. It is useless to take revenge on them through a legal way.
One of the most important things is to prevent crime and educate them to live together.

Soft drugs like marijuana should be illegal

The “The “Soft Drugs” such as marijuana is becoming more and more popular in the world. To some people, marijuana is not a kind of drug, they just use it to lessen the pain as a medicine. However, the danger of marijuana should never been neglected.

It is certain that smoking marijuana will hurt human lungs and the nervous system.One who habitually smokes marijuana could get a lot of immediate effects .But, the danger of smoking marijuana does not only have some immediate effects, but also something more.

Long-term regular users of marijuana may become psychologically dependent. Especially some young people. They may have a hard time limiting their use, they may need more of the drug to get the same effect, and they may develop problems with their jobs and personal relationships. The drug can become the most important aspect of their lives.On the other hand, marijuana could be a way to some other “hard drug” such as heroin and cocaine.


To my way of thinking, drugs are drugs, there is little difference between “soft drugs” and “hard drugs”. Both of them are executioners of human’s health. Both of them should be illegal , if not , more and more people (Especially some teenagers) will find a way to hurt themselves.”

There is nothing wrong with people living together before they are married.

I agree with that because marriage is kind of arrangement that two different people live together until they die, but recently many married couples get married and divorce too easily and quickly. I think it's a very serious problem in the world, that's why we need to live together before we are married.
First, you will get to know a lot about him.
When you are dating him, he always wants to show you his nice appearance and nice attitude, but when you try living together that situation changes and you can see his real personality even though you have been dating him for 10 years.
Second, you need to have a trial marriage.
Actually, dating and marriage are quite different but we don't know how so I think a trial marriage is very helpful before our real marriage. You can do everything that you imagined your marrid life would be when you were young. Also when you have the time which is trial and error, you will realise that you are more mature than before.
Therefore, I think cohabiting with our partner before we are married is better than marrying our partner without any previous information .

The picture to show the oldest watch

The 450-year-old portrait which is being displayed in a gallery shows a part of the golden timepiece and has been sent to a renaissance expert to investigate it.

The first watch was invented in 1500 in Germany and this picture was drawn around 1560. This picture shows a close ralationship between science and art at that time.

This picture has been in the museum's collection for 33 years and a curator found it and decided to research it. It was painted by the renaissance master Maso da San Friano and the model of portrait is known as Cosimo I de Medici, Duke of Florence who was interested in science and art.

A cold climate for resorts

Resort holidaying gets ready for a cold climate

Tracey Bartosial was a host of a trendy seafront cafe at the Irish Sea tide . She told the reporter of BBC about her cafe`s situation.

"The weather has had a huge impact, it has not been a good summer." She said.

Tracey`s cafe opened for 4 years, they were open until 10pm and people were queueing out the door, and that was without a reputation, but four years down the line, their hours are 10 til 4pm - that is a huge drop.

She told the reporter, "We haven't had one late night opening in the summer. I had 20 on my staff - I'm down to three now."

With the promise of good weather and more people holidaying at home, there were hopes that the resort might enjoy a renaissance inspired by flagship regeneration projects . But as the summer drew to a close, these hopes receded.

She added: "Hopefully we will be here next summer, but hand on heart, I do not know. I take each day as it comes."

A man called Tom Morgan was attacked by a stag and he spent 15 minute sfighting for his life with this wild animal on Calmough mountain.
He was out with his family for a walk and he faced that animal and he just wanted to take a photo of that animal but the animal felt that he wasin danger and attacked Tom with his antlers and made a 20 hole in Tom`s body. and Mr Morgan`s wife and his daughter were watching the attack and hoping that it would finish soon becuase they couldn't do anything to stop this wild animal they were in shock.
Mr Morgan said"as soon the stag got in front of me he straight attacked me in my chest".
and his reaction was just to grab this wild animal with his antlers . Mr Morgan said also " the stag was pushing me down me down field. and he gave up for that stag.
At that moment,Rory Coffey had seen the attack from far away so he went to help and he urged the badly injured man to crawl away. Mr Morgan saw that Rory was in danger too and each of them had gored holes and pains. Mr Morgan pulled himself over the gate falling over onto the road and he was watching Rory struggling with the stag and he felt when he was in the same situation and he was in some pain for Rory being there and Mr morgan went and he felt guilty that Rory had come to rescue him and put his life in danger and he was going to die for me.
Eventually Rory had a chance to escape from that stag and both men were saved but they have serious injuries.
Mr Morgan said he is lucky to be alive after what happened and he didn't know how to return the favour to Rory who rescued him and didn't know how to show his gratitude to Rory Coffey.
The stag was later shot by trained marksman.

But there is a club that could make us live together , you can be a member in this club if you are chocolate fan .

One new member has registered as a chocolate fan after he was accused of sidestepping a question about his favourite biscuit during an online chat on the parent's website Mumsnet, saying he is partial to chocolate biscuits .

He used the social networking site Twitter to reveal that he likes "anything with a bit of chocolate though he was trying hard to cut down ."

Mumsnet users speculated that it might be Garibaldi or Nice, another asked whether he dunked.

But Mr Brown left the hour long session with the question unanswered.

The PM was more open about his health, after speculation about his eyesight, saying he was "fighting fit".

Mr Brown joins a growing list of politicians to take part in web chats on social media sites aimed at mothers, including Tory leader David Cameron and Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg.
